Mary Yasuko Fujishima, honorary chairman of Johnny's Office who fostered the "Tanokin Trio" and "Shonentai", died of pneumonia at 7:35 a.m. on April 14 at a hospital in Tokyo. She is the eldest of three siblings, and her younger brother is a NASA employee. She and her youngest brother, Johnny, came to Japan before World War II.

Her husband, writer Fujishima Taisuke, died in 1997. Her eldest daughter, Fujishima Keiko Julie has served as president of the Johnny's Office since 2019
