Voting is taking place on "Girls Planet 999" official platform "UNIVERSE", and the voting results reflect a ratio of 50% for the Korean region and 50% for all other regions. In the first and second rounds of voting, viewers were able to vote for a total of nine people from each country, and in the third round of voting, viewers were able to vote for a total of three people from each country, but in the final round, they were able to vote for only one person per day. Although changes in the rankings were expected, the ratio of K3:C2:J4 in the third round of voting drastically changed to K8:C1:J0 in this midterm announcement

Kim Chaehyun, who had fallen out of the top 9 in the third round of voting and was ranked 11th, took the top spot this time, and Group K took over the top 8 spots, with Group C's making in 9th place. In the second viewer's poll, J-group had four members in the top 9: Sakamoto Mashiro (3rd), Ezaki Hikaru (4th), Kawaguchi Yurina (6th), and Nonaka Shana (7th), but in this interim announcement, all four were ranked below 10th.

Furthermore, Shen Xiaoting, who had shown overwhelming strength by coming in first place in Group C in the individual evaluation of the program's signal (theme) song, second place in the first viewer vote, first place in the second viewer vote, and first place in the second and third viewer votes, unexpectedly came in 16th place out of 18. Xiaoting came in first in the 3rd viewer's poll with the Korean vote. The degree of shock was even greater than that of the Japanese, as she had been ranked No. 1 in 77 countries including the U.S., U.K., and France, and held the top spot with a huge margin of 1.76 million points over the second place

On SNS, there were many comments such as "garupura midterm announcement is too shocking", " garupura final voting midterm result eh,,," "I saw the midterm ranking of garupura but I'm shaking", "midterm ranking is too bad, crying".
There were also many comments about the sudden drop of Xiaoting, who was a strong candidate for the center.
"What? Where's my Xiaoting?"
"No, seriously, a world where Xiaoting can't make her debut is too terrible."
"Xiaoting and the Japanese members have fallen so far down the rankings.
In addition, "mid-ranking" and "Xiaoting" were trending on Twitter.

The final vote will be a combination of the results of the first round of voting, which will be held until 10 a.m. on October 22, and the second round of voting, which will be held from 8 p.m. on October 22 during a simultaneous live broadcast in Japan, Korea and China on ABEMA. [+582, -31] In this where, nine Koreans will make their debut.
It would probably be happier for everyone if J and C groups debuted with nine members

[+415, -38] There it is, Mnet!
If they wanted to have 9 Koreans debut, why didn't they hold auditions with only Koreans from the beginning?
This reminds me of the IZ*ONE voting...

[+369 ,- 25] Considering the weight of the Korean votes, I thought that in the end koreans would be strong, but I didn't expect it to be this strong.
I guess the Japanese and Chinese participants were just there to create a buzz and show that the Korean contestants are amazing

[+210, -10] The biggest problem is Bahiyyih.
Whether she debuts or drops out, she will never be able to avoid being cursed at

[+196, -15] If they debut with only 9 K's, I will just have to laugh.
What kind of global is that?
I think they should debut with two teams of 9 members each, or with 9 K members and 9 C and J members. I don't know what the previous ranking was.
The only thing to do is to push hard with one pick without thinking about saving anyone

[+172, -17] I was happy to see that Kang Yeseo was in the top but then I saw the others and panicked.
I knew K would be strong when it came to the 1pick, but I didn't expect it to be this strong. I don't know if it's because they're still in the middle, but I'm not sure if any J can be one of the debut members

[+163, -14] Honestly, I'm not to support a group with only 9 Koreans...
It's probably the last chance for Yaning, Mashiro and others to debut... I knew that the Koreans were too strong, but it's not right to lose talented girls...
Good luck to the Japanese and Chinese!

[+150, -20] It's true that they're all very talented, but it just doesn't feel right....
Xiaoting seems to be the best center of them all, so it looks a bit plain.
Personally, I think the voice is important for Main vocalist or Sub vocalist, so I want Bora or Yaning.
If you try to make a group based mainly on popularity polls, it will inevitably become unbalanced.
It would be nice if we could vote for different categories, like this kid for vocals and this kid for dance

[+128, -11] I think Mnet thinks this is the worst thing that could happen to them.
A group without Chinese members would be shut out of China due to the relationship between the two countries, and without Japanese members, they wouldn't be able to perform in Japan, which is a huge dollar market.
I think they are in a real panic but can't manipulate the situation because of their past history

[+113, -6] Mnet is in trouble! It was just a Korean group so that made me wonder if they made the announcement because they thought they were in trouble and if they didn't, they won't be able to become a global group.
As I recall, the master's evaluation was supposed to be reflected at the end, so even if the ranking is high, it doesn't mean they can debut?

[+96,- 8] It was the first audition show I watched from the beginning.
It's a shame. I guess that's what happens when you're not chosen on abilities.
To be honest, I don't recognize Bahiyyih's brother.
But I didn't feel that she had more talent or star power than the other kids. But she will be able to debut just due her brother

[+94, -8] I didn't find any of the Korean candidates attractive... Especially the visuals...
But I knew it would come to this!
I think China was by far the best in terms of both visuals and ability, but they were filmed and broadcasted in their bad parts.
I didn't see where the Japanese were in the spotlight, and I think it was a set-up so that they couldn't be in the top 9.
They should just debut with only Koreans.
I don't think it will be popular but they can try
On the other hand, it would be interesting if there was only one Korean and the rest were Japanese and Chinese!
I don't think you can call yourself global unless you're like k4j3c2.

[+84, -10] I think Xiaoting, Hikaru, and Mashiro are absolutely necessary for the group.
If not, we'll have a group that doesn't feel right.
I usually vote for my favorite Yujin, but from now on I'll vote for these three

[+76, -1] Bahiyyih's ranking is absolute bullsh*t www
