At the U.S. Academy Awards, "Rashomon" (1952), "Hell's Gate" (1955), "Musashi Miyamoto" (1956), "Dersu Uzala" (1976), and "Departures" (2009) have won awards equivalent to the current Best International Feature Film award, but have never been nominated for Best Picture. This will be the first t nomination for Best International Feature Film since "Shoplifters" in 2019.

15. I don't know why they didn't advertise this movie at all when it was released in japan, I couldn't  even see Nishijima Hidetoshi who has an image if advertising a lot, do it. Maybe it's because they didn't expect to make so much money but it wasn't on the theaters a lot. What a shame
