NGT48's first single in 11 months to be released on June 23rd. 16 Year old Ogoe Haruka to be new center.

On June 7 in a special broadcast on  'Showroom' it was announced that NGT48 will release their single (title undecided) in June 23rd with 2nd year student Ogoe Haruka (16) will be the center. 

It's the group's 6th single and first in 11 months since the release of 'Sherbet Pink'. In the last single all members were selected but this time 16 were selected. It'll be the first time a 2nd year student is the center of the groups single.

Ogoe says "I'm really happy to be selected for centering, as I always wanted. I will do my best" She also added "Now that I'm the center I'm going to be the ace of NGT48 one day! I want to be someone who can play and active role in the wider world.

The center of the last single Fujisaki Miyu (20) says "She always said she wanted to be center so to be picked this young is really amazing. She is the youngest of the picked members so please show your support.

Ogoe was one of the members in front in the last single "Sherbet Pink" and was included in all songs. Through her special way of seeing the world as she calls it Haruka-mura (Haruka-town) a name for virtual space and her fans during showroom streams and theater performances she has been gaining popularity. In a older interview with Nikkan sports she said "she wants to do Niigata and NGT48 more exiting but to do she needs the best position so I want to be center!"

Besides Ogoe the 16 selected members are: Ogino Yuka (22) Oguma Tsugumi (18) Nakai Rika (23) Nakamura Ayuka (22) Nara Miharu (23) Nishigata Marina (25) Nishimura Nanako (23) Homma Hinata (21) Ando Chikana (20) Sato Kairi (20) Tsushima Yunako (19) Otsuka Nanami (20) Kawagoe Saaya (20) Mashimo Kaho (21).

I feel bad for the innocent members but I want NGT48 dissolved to show responsibility. Just once the management should go around Niigata City and see what they really think of NGT and take the opinions seriously. Nothing seems to have changed during these past 2 years.

They only perform in Niigata a few times per month and radio once a week. The only thing NGT has contributed with is making up an image of Niigata women being dangerous.
