[+5,176, -1,620] When it comes to Japanese tastes a group with cute members are the safest option so it's natural that that's the norm.
I think it would be interesting to see a sharp and clear girl group in Japan to make a bold statement among where all the other groups are similar.
I look forward to their momentum

[+1,096, -876] Since Japan don't look for overseas markets the style is shaped by domestic demands and Japanese will not be accepted overseas.
In that respect, Korea uses the world as a market, so their music and movies are growing exponentially in economic, acting and technology because they understand the demand of the world.
Japan should also aim at the quality of its acting to the world.
Performance levels are overwhelmingly low for Asia
So they can only be met domestically, and they will be limited in about 10 years to do it in a domestic demand style.
If we don't adopt the styles of other countries and North America now and try to expand our market to the world, we will only decline.

[+1,048, -634] I saw their video and could see their potential. Then it's important to get good songs, both twice and Blackpink have good songs.
i Know they are called XG because it's a combination of YG and Avex, but I think YG songwriters would fit them. I also wanna see Japanese people do well in the world

[+1,330, -180] There's nobody like Namie Amuro or Kumi Koda in a group, I know I shouldn't put them together but I will just as solo artists. Is it groups because that's more favorable by fans?

[+926, -547] Japan don't have many singing programs to begin with and I feel less and less songs become representative of the year so I'm waiting for a song that everyone will be able to sing along with! I hope there will be more groups and singers like this one, and more places for young dreamers in Japan and everywhere else! Fighting!

[+865, -243] Girl crush is still very few in Japan and they will get criticism from people not knowing about it lol
But good luck okay, that will be fine? I'm looking forward to them. Please let the Japanese female idol world take a new turn

[+586, -142] Often is AKB mentioned but I think they're a different genre.
A skill based group is powerful and can compete overseas.
Like fairies produced by Rising production who also handled Namie Amuro, MAX, SPEED and others, or the good dancers E-GIRLS who could have sold more if this genre had developed more. In the end it might not change without some outside pressure

[+555, -148] This kind of music is finally coming to Japan, but if you're just a good singer, speaks multiple languages, dances and is cool you just look like a imitation of foreigners and can only sell that much. I want them to have something to express and nothing that seems fake

[+179, -64] The fact that there's so many comments shows that there is some interest for them. i Just found out about them but their singing and dancing skills are promising. But as others said we had powerful groups before like E-GIRLS who sold nothing while the cute concept is unrivalry popular in Japan. Can teaming up with YG break this barrier? Let's go with a good song
